Your maker promise

A draft promise for children and grown-ups to read together.

I can ask questions, try again and ask for a break. I do not have to share something that makes me uncomfortable.
I use a nickname in projects. I do not share my address, password, phone number or another child's photo.
I ask my grown-up before opening a new website, joining a call or using a tool.
I make my own ideas and credit anyone who helped. Mistakes are part of learning.
I am kind. I do not tease, pressure or secretly message another learner.
If someone asks me to keep an uncomfortable secret or sends something upsetting, I stop and tell my trusted grown-up. It is not my fault.
I show what I made, explain what changed and make time to play away from the screen.
